Triauris Refrance Sheet

So Made this little species and i think they're cute so their an open species for all you guys long as you guys read and follow all the stuff below Oh and also mention that I invented the species.

Bio

Species Name - Triauris(singular), Triauri(plural)
Name Meaning - 3 ears (I know so original)
Lifespan - 200 years
Average Height - (measured in hands like a horse, 1 hand=4inches) 17-18hh
Average weight - 1200-1300 lbs.
Intelligence - About even with humans
Diet - Small mamals although ocationally bigger things of in groups.
Habitat- Tundra and colder climates usually although can live basicly anywere when domesticated.

Description -
Triauri are large carnivorus mammals. Their facial structure is basicly an elongated feline skull. They have short but dense plush fur similar to a huskies making their fur very valubal until hunting them was made illegal due to over hunting. They have long sloping shoulders which attach to long eligant legs that give them very graceful movement. They have sloping hips like a sight hound and have a very flexable spine allowing them very rappid movement similar to that of a cheetah. Their tails are very very strong able to hold their body weight for short periods of time and up to 80% of their body weight for extended periods of time. At the end of their tails is a large tuft of fur wnich can very in length dependeing on the length of their mane and forelock. Their Paws are large and solid with none retractible claws. Triauri have exilent night vision with somewhat worse daylight vision due to their enourmus pupils that make up 90% of the visible part of their eyes. They also have a decent sence of smell about even with most canines even though their nose is feline in visual apperance.
Finally their ears. Triauri have 3 ears on either side of their heads. Their size decreasing as they move down the side of the head from a rather large top ear to a relitivly small bottom ear. Due to their total of 6 ears its quite oviuos that they have superb hearing possibly the best of any creature.

Colors and Markings -
Triauris can have any color or markings although must tend to gather around thee legs hips and shoulders and very rarely on the face although its not unheard of. The only rule really is they have to have at least one natural color and their tongue, gums nose and pawpads all have to match.

Triauri DONT have spikes wings 6 legs 2 head multipul tails ect. Their designed the way they are for a reason and you must ask me if you want to make any modifications to the general species design thank you!

Biology -
Triauri have anatomy fairly similar to any normal mammal Femals tend to be a bit smaller than males and males are usually more flashy in color than femals.

(not much here really its pretty basic)

Gaits -
Walk -graceful eligant walk
Trot - Bouncy yet graceful gate that while not the most comfortable the Triauri can pull a cart at this gait without tiring for a very long period of time.
Lope - Smooth eligant movement that can easilly cary a person for a rather long period of time without tiring.
Gallop - Very stretched out gate were the Trauri's not unly push themselves forward with their hind legs but also pull themselves forward with their front were their spines flex a great deal similar to the spine of a chettah which gives them spring and kenetic energy this allows them to travel up to 85 miles an hour although occationally some are breed specificly for racing and these can reach up to 100mph.

Usage -
Triauri are used for many purposes their very good at traveling very long distances quickly so they are tipicly used to get messages to places quickly although recently theyve been used more for recreation from anything from trailriding to racing to jumping or barrelracing. Their very diverce creatures and can learn to do basicly anything you really want them to do, some re even kept as pets as in giant fluffy cats or dogs, (just dont let them sit on your legs.) Also very good at serch and rescue due to their exilent scences.

Vocalization -
Purr- when content Triauri purr similar to a very loud house cat. Makes when very happy
Chirps - similar to a young animal chirping for its mother. Makes this noise when destressed or looking for something/ someone.
Roar - must be very eiritated to make this noise its terifying noise and can cary up to 10 miles.

Social - Triauri are tipicly found in small clans never exceding more than 5 members except in captivity their tipicly very friendly and more than willing to accept new members of either sex. Triauri mate for life except when being bred in captivity but once they have picked a true mate their is absolutly no way to make them breed not even artificial insemination works since the females body will reject the sperm.
Triauri can become very atached to their owners as long as their owner treats them well if they are beatenor neglected and they see who has done it to them theirs usually nothing that can stop them from destroying that person. It's never smart to to cross a Triauri since they can get very violent luckly its very difficult to anger them.

Breeding -
Same as any mammal you figure it out...

Young -
Triauri stay very very small till about their 20th year of life thier eyes usually open after 1 week and they start walking after only a few hours but while their very young their markings are usually very simple and will become more detailed as they grow. Usually t this stage they never exceed 2 ft tall.\ Adults take care of theri yound till about the 50 year mark to teach them everything they need to know to survive although usually the young join the clan and so never truly leave their parents just become independent from them.

Adolecent- this is the stage between 20 years to 100 years werre they still havent reached their ful size yet but have started to grow into their markings. They are very eligant creatures at this point and are about the size of a great dane untill around age 90 were they have an enormus growth surt over the next 10n years growing to the height of a large draft horse.

Adult - Age 101 - 180 were their in their prime and can be used for whatever you chose. You can breed them compete with them whatever you want this i also were their the most inteligent and quite lovely in all aspects.

Elder - During their last 20 years their bodies start shutting down arthirites kicks in as well as weakened immun systemuntill they fianlly sut down and die right around the 200 year mark.
